On November 8, CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group and Sinosteel Group held an online strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony. Qian Gang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Citic Pacific Special Steel Group, and Liu Andong, Party Secretary and chairman of Sinosteel Group, delivered speeches at the signing ceremony respectively and signed the contract on behalf of both parties. Group deputy Party secretary, President Li Guozhong presided over the signing ceremony.
Chairman Qian Gang said that Sinosteel and CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group are upstream and downstream enterprises of each other's industrial chain. This signing will boost the strategic cooperation between Citic Pacific Special Steel Group and Sinosteel Group in raw material supply, industrial extension and other aspects, and boost the transformation and upgrading of Citic Pacific Special Steel Group and its subsidiaries to high-end extended industries.
Chairman Liu Andong sincerely hopes that the two sides will take this comprehensive strategic cooperation as an opportunity to actively expand the all-round cooperative relationship of key generic technologies in special steel related fields by taking the supply of chromium ore and ferrochrome resources and investment cooperation as an important entry point.
Both sides agreed to further deepen cooperation, give full play to their advantages in science and technology, industry, mineral resources and capital, innovate development modes, actively deepen synergy in metallurgical engineering technology, equipment manufacturing, refractory materials, green and low-carbon metallurgy and other fields, tap growth drivers, and jointly create a new situation of high-quality development and win-win cooperation under the new situation.
